Donations have come to Sorenson from California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and other states.

Sorenson hired and supported former H.R. Director Adam Westbrook, who is awaiting sentencing in federal court for sex crimes against children.

ActBlue: The Controversial Fundraising Platform
These donations came through the popular liberal fundraising site ActBlue, which has recently faced criticism for failing to properly verify donations.
Concerns have been raised about:
- Straw donations (fake donors being used to funnel money).
- Foreign donations influencing U.S. elections.
Sorenson’s current website still links to ActBlue for donations.
